Prior to Co-Founding Blu Sky Films, Justin and his partner Fleming Trane's patented payment technology CheckMate, was purchased by TableSafe in 2012 and has gone on to raise over $19 million in investment capital and is sold through in over 1000 restaurants and groups. With good initial traction and numerous articles in publications like Entrepreneur Magazine, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and Inc Magazine, TableSafe is poised for success in 2015. Additionally, PayPal, Micros and various pos vendors have partnered with TableSafe based on the strength of the product.
While working as a Creative Director with InTheWeeds.biz (a web based software company in the restaurant management space) Justin helped it’s founder, Camille Jackson, articulate her vision with an engaging app design and product demo which helped to secure initial funding and cement partner relationships. Later, after working with the founder to get the product team moving forward, Justin circled back and reworked the website’s messaging strategy to increase paying customer conversions. From the creation of a strong and memorable brand to the initial product demo, Justin was a key part of In The Weeds reaching their initial revenue targets.
